Flying Finish (Scarce Uncorrected Proof)
London: Michael Joseph, 1966. Softcover. 8vo 8" - 9" tall. Near Fine. A scarce copy of an early Dick Francis novel. NF condition with a protective cover. On the back is a stamp for "Field, Roscoe & Co" - solictitors acting on behalf of the society of Authors and were active from 1835 - 1969, presumably also acting on behalf of Francis. There is a name JC Medley, dated 9/8/66 on the back which is likely John Christopher Medley, who seemed to have worked at the company. A lovely copy with some interesting provenance. NF. Item #2750
