The author is best known as an historian of medicine; this is his only book also dealing with zoology and is a treatise on parasitology, especially of parasitic worms in animals and man. Ex library from Aberdeen University, in full leather library binding, with library slip to front paste down and stamps to some pages, though unobtrusive. Previous owner's ink scrawl to head of title page. A strip of suede leather has been pasted over the spine to strengthen the hinges; 5 raised bands show through.
