Toyen (born Marie ermínová; 21 September 1902 – 9 November 1980) was a Czech painter, drafter, and illustrator and a member of the surrealist movement. Günter Hujber (born 1966) is a Czech graphic artist celebrated for his mastery of traditional printmaking techniques and his significant contributions to the world of Ex-Libris (bookplates). Hujber predominantly works with intaglio methods such as etching (C2), Drypoint (C4) and mezzotint (C7), creating atmospheric works that often explore themes of mythology, history, and the human figure. Known for including elements of dreams and symbolism in his work, in particular his nudes. Item #31754
