Macdonald Purnell, 1994. First published in South Africa by Macdonald Purnell. Mandela became South Africa's first democratically elected president during the 1994 elections at the end of Apartheid. Winner of the 1993 Nobel Peace Prize along with FW de Klerk for their respective roles in ending Apartheid. This copy flat signed on the title page. Included is a letter from the President's Office dated 14 September 1995, acknowledging the receipt of the book on 28th Aug 1995 and it's returned signed. A fine copy of the 7th Printing. Item #33105
