2019. Fyodor Shurmelev is a graphic artist, sculptor, Master of Art History, and senior lecturer in the Department of Painting and Graphics at the Belarusian State Academy of Arts. He works in etching and color lithography. C3 (Etching) + C5 (Aquatint), image size 145mm x 125mm, Signed 20/75 Eurydice is a famous figure in Greek mythology best known as the wife of the legendary musician Orpheus. She tragically died on her wedding day after being bitten by a snake. Her husband attempted to rescue her from the Underworld using the power of his enchanting music. Item #33331
