Boards stamped in brown green and gold. Released as part of the Sylvan Series, it contains 18 tales, 2 of which were included in the Ash-Tree collection of Gilchrist tales. NF copy, boards are clean, some toning to endpapers but generally NF or better internally. Two pages of publishers ads in the back p187-188. Flier dated March 1901 laid in lose in the front, advertising Grant Richards titles, presumably added later to unsold copies! ? A very solid collectors copy of a scarce book.
