Considered America's first bibliomystery, set largely in the antiquarian book stores and auction houses of New York and Hartford, a search for the missing Scrope Library. Original green cloth (also available in brown, seemingly no priority). Front board is marked and slight detachment of spine at top and bottom, but should be an easy restoration.
